An ambitious project was carried out with the installation of a photovoltaic ON-GRID solar plant on the flat roof of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Rabat. With a capacity of 618.45 kWp, this installation aims to meet the university's energy needs while promoting the use of renewable energy sources.

With an annual production of 900 MWh, this plant is a key asset for the university's sustainability. By preventing the emission of 646 tons of CO2 annually, it highlights UM6P's commitment to a more environmentally-friendly future.

To ensure the efficiency of the installation, Trina Solar photovoltaic panels, each with a capacity of 665 Wp, were selected, totaling 930 panels for optimal solar energy conversion. Additionally, 22 Huawei inverters, with power ratings ranging from 8 to 100 kWp, were integrated to maximize energy management and ensure high performance.

This project demonstrates how the educational sector can integrate renewable energy to reduce its energy costs while strengthening its commitment to sustainable development.
