American School 1 & 2

Two ON-GRID solar photovoltaic installations have been set up on the flat roofs of the American School in Rabat. The first installation has a total capacity of 121 kWp, while the second boasts a capacity of 163.35 kWp. These systems were designed to address the institution's growing energy demands while encouraging the use of renewable energy.

For this project, photovoltaic panels from Jinko Solar and Trina Solar were selected, with capacities of 275 Wp and 450 Wp, respectively. A total of 862 panels were installed to ensure optimal solar energy conversion. To guarantee overall efficiency, eight inverters from Fronius and Huawei were integrated to enable efficient management of the generated energy.

The estimated annual production of these installations is 500.7 MWh, making a significant contribution to the school’s sustainability efforts. By avoiding the emission of 359.39 tons of CO₂ each year, this project highlights the vital role of renewable energy in combating climate change and reinforces the American School’s commitment to a greener and more environmentally conscious future.
